The reasons for the pellet mill causing loose pellets?

The poultry feed pellet mill(ciclk to see sunwit feed machinery) is one of the key machines in feed production line. It takes corn, barley, wheat, maize, cereal, grain, coarse fiber as asraw material. The pellets have the advantages of balanced nutrition, easy digestion and easy storage.

Sometimes, loose or not forming phenomenon would appear when using feed pellet mill, then what is the reason for that? How to avoid producing loose feed pellets?

We mainly consider it from the following 3 aspects

1.The Characteristic of raw material
The texture of some raw material is relatively soft, which is easy to make pellets. While some is hard or in powder, which is difficult to shape.

Besides, the moisture of raw material is also a main factor of unshaped pellets. The moisture of raw material is better to be kept between 8%-15%. Higher or lower moisture will make it difficult to shape pellets.

Keep good control of crude fiber content of material. Appropriate crude fiber content is beneficial for pellets to bond and will reduce pulverulent ratio, improve pelleting output.

But when crude fiber content exceeds a certain rate, it will affect pellets’ hardness and shaping rate because of low cohesiveness.

2.The compression ratio of ring die feed pellet machine
The compression ratio of ring die means the ratio of effective working length and die holes´diameter. We need to choose suitable compression ratio according to raw material formula and product requirement.

Low compression ratio can increase output and reduce energy consumption, but in that case, the pellets produced are loose with varying length and high pulverulent ratioon the contrary, pellets would be solid with smooth, glossy surface and low pulverulent ratio, while the cost is high under this circumstances.

3.The gap between press roller and ring die
If the gap between press roller and die is too wide, the pressure is not enough which will cause poor quality of pellet forming. So, clients should strictly follow feed pellet mill manufacturer’s instruction to adjust gap between press roller and die.

How to make pig feed pellets

3 steps creating your own pig feed 1. after you area unit attending to build pig feed pellets on your own, the primary step is to form certain the wetness of your raw materials is concerning 10-12%. The wetter or appliance material can have an effect on the ultimate quality of finished pellets. you'll be able to use a drier, so you'll be able to get the perfect wetness quickly. otherwise you will dry it naturally within the sun. 2. the second step you've got to try to to is crushing your materials before you begin creating your own pig feed pellet pellets, if your raw materials size is just too abundant massive, it is not really easy to be ironed into pellets. after you crush it to fine powders, the finest, the better, the pelletizing rate and final pellets quality are going to be higher. 3. feeding your raw materials into the pig feed pellet mill machine through the feeder. they will be compressed to columnlike holes on the die and discharged from the machi...

Circular Saw Blade Buying Guide 1

Different types of circular saw blades are designed to cut different materials and work with different power saws. Make sure the blade you choose is suitable for the material you need to cut. You also need to make sure it fits your saw. There are several specifications you should check. Look at the blade diameter and type and compare these specifications with the capability of your saw. Acceptable sizes vary by saw model, but in general: Handheld circular saws accept smaller blades, those 4-1/2 inches to 7-1/4 inches in diameter. These are typically carbide-tipped . Tile saws use 7-inch or 10-inch diamond blades. Table saws and compound miter saws use blades 10 inches or 12 inches in diameter. Like those for handheld saws, the blades are usually carbide-tipped . Metal-cutting chop saws , also called abrasive saws or cutoff saws , take 14-inch silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive blades. Check the size of the arbor hole (the hole in the cen...
